Probably, this will be the most challenging event that members of KSM3B cycling club will participate this year. All of us will participate in both 'Masters Men Category' of the 'Olympic Cross Country' and 'Open Marathon Cross Country' events. 2 of us will be presenting TM as the main sponsor of the event, however, we think we will bring no proud to the company. Yet our sheer determination in completing the race will ensure it won't dissapoint and humiliate our team. At least we pray we can bring back some lucky draw prizes. A consistent nite cycling routing and weekend off-roader will help us gain the needed stamina and fitness for the game.
Members who will participate are : Syed Shahzan (The President), Qabla Qulu, Schumie, Napi, Rashid and Bob.
The event will take place at Kg Tok Senik (Marathon X-country) and Telaga Habour (Olympic X-country), Pulau Langkawi starting 6th until 8th August 2010. Members will drive in 2 cars to Kuala Perlis jetty before boarding a ferry to Kuah. The organiser will fetch us and send us to our hotel. Our physical strength will be tested fully the next day.
Quote from Mr Schumie, "We must aim high, lucky draw prizes are not enough....we must go for the top podium finish. 1-2 finish will be great."
Bob said, "Dream on baby."
